I certify that in carrying board the "Royal Saxon", the several items enumerated in the above account were rendered necessary, of defective wood, as in the case of the cabin Fittings, or for extra accommodation, and are over and above those set forth on the original specification prepared by Harbor Master; the charges for the same are just, reasonable and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief and that the whole service has been faithfully executed to my satisfaction.

Specification for fitting the Barque "Royal Saxon" into a Hulk
The upper deck housed over, frame to be 6x3", roof planking 3/4". Such pine or the roof Manila wood
Stanchions for the roof 6x6". 12 feet at centre, 6 at side to run the whole length of the Vessel, and Covered with Canvas 9 feet apart.
Head closed in, iron grated below, and 20 seats fitted on each side, a platform across the heel of the bowsprit for Sentry;
Fore and Mizen channels and channel plates removed.
Two ports 3x3 cut through the bows in Fore castle and fitted for guard.
